Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed October in decline, as the All-Share Market went down 1.67% or 86 points to end the month at 5,042.22 points from 5,128.04 points in September.
The Main Market retreated 0.88% or 41.9 points at 4,693.72 points from 4,735.62 points last month.
The Premier Market went down 2.05% or 110 points to 5,234.18 points from 5,343.91 points.
Liquidity shrank by 40.9% to KWD 309.85 million by the end of October from KWD 523.83 million in the prior month.
Trading volume decreased by 29.3% to 1.49 billion shares from 2.1 billion in September.
The number of traded shares declined by 17.6% to about KWD 75,570 from nearly 91,660 in September.
Market cap shrank by 1.6% or KWD 470 million ($1.6 billion) to KWD 28.58 billion in October from KWD 29.05 billion a month earlier.
