Mubasher: The performance of Boursa Kuwait was negative during the week ended 2 March when compared to the week ended 23 February.
The price index retreated 0.63% or 42.7 points to end this week at 6,767.04 points from 6,809.78 points.
The weighted index levelled down 0.61% or 2.6 points, while Kuwait-15 lost 0.12% or 1.17 points.
Liquidity shrank by 40.2% to reach KWD 110.04 million during the week when compared to KWD 183.86 million in the previous week.
The trading volume decreased by 42.8% to stand at 1.04 billion shares from 1.82 billion in the past week.
Transactions dropped 33.9% on a weekly basis to total about 25,330 this week from around 38,320 in the prior week.
Market cap went down 0.6% or KWD 177 million ($196.46 million) to stand at KWD 29.139 billion ($83.63 billion) from KWD 29.316 billion ($83.43 billion) in the previous week.
