Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a decline at Thursday’s close for the second consecutive session.
The All-Share and Premier markets edged down by 0.97% and 0.17%, respectively, while the Main and Main BK 50 indices dipped by 0.17% and 0.36%, in that order.
The market’s liquidity totalled KWD 30.6 million, 50.5% higher than KWD 20.33 million in the previous session. The trading volume retreated by 8.3% to 90.88 million shares when compared to 99.1 million.
In the meantime, the telecom sector came on top of four fallers with 1.94%, whereas the consumer goods sector led five risers with 5.12%.
Educational Holding Group was the top decliner with 8.93%, whereas Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment (KMEFIC) headed the gainers with 14.84%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH), down by 1.43%, led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 15.23 million shares at KWD 9.44 million.
