Kuwait – Mubasher: Indices on Boursa Kuwait opened Wednesday’s trading session mixed.
The price index increased 0.19% or 12.22 points to 6,897.18 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices declined 0.21% and 0.42%, respectively.
By 10 am Kuwait time, four sectors were in the green, led by industrials with 1.12% backed by five of its stocks, led by Construction Material Industry with 6.85%.
On the other hand, the banking sector shed 0.68%, pressured by six of its stocks, led by Warba Bank with 1.96%.
At the level of stocks, Taameer Real Estate Investment led fallers, losing 2.22% with traded volume of 10.2 million shares, whereas Kuwait Finance House (KFH), down 1.89%, led in terms of turnover with KWD 1.4 million.
Boursa Kuwait’s overall turnover reached KWD 7.01 million after 70.7 million shares were exchanged through around 1,600 transactions.
