Boursa Kuwait records 2nd active liquidity in 2019

Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed in the green on Monday for the third session in a row, supported by the high trading value which registered the second active liquidity in 2019.

The All-Share index inched up 0.18% or 11.1 points to close at 6,017.39 points, similarly, both the Premier and the Main markets edged up 0.16% and 0.26%, respectively.

The liquidity jumped 64% to reach KWD 75.64 million on Monday, versus KWD 46.14 million during yesterday’s trading session.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) and Kuwait Finance House (KFH) pushed the banking segment to advance four gainers with 0.4%. Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector led six decliners with a fall of 0.52%.

Real Estate Trade Centers (Marakez) came at the top of the winners after climbing 9.52%, while International Resorts led the losers with 24.44%.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 21.61 million, the stock closed 0.39% up.

Moreover, Al Imtiaz Investment Group posted the highest trading volume amounting to 35.46 million shares, the stock rose 2.92%.
