Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday in green territory for the third consecutive session, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went up 1.82%, 2.61%, and 0.35%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s performance is still upward in line with a revive in the current liquidity as investors review their accounts after Morgan Stanley announced including Boursa Kuwait in the review list, the deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO, Raed Diab, told Mubasher.
Telecom companies topped nine gaining sectors with 2.9%, while the oil and gas segment was the only decliner with a fall of 1.5%.
Boubyan Holding was the top winner with 13.7%, while Ekttitab led the losers with 6.83%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 38.6% to KWD 42.03 million on Wednesday, compared to KWD 30.32 million in the previous session after the trading volume increased by 31.7% to 155.12 million shares from 117.77 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was the most active stock on which 19.83 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 11.44 million, the stock went up 4.3% to 582 fils.
