Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday rose by 0.47% or 31.02 points to reach 6,629.99 points by 10:45 am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices were up by 0.44% and 0.69%, respectively.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 11.5 million, after 19.7 million shares were traded through about 2,600 transactions.
The financial services segment topped eight gainers with 1.33%, on the back of National Investments which gained 7.22% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led three decliners with 1.57%, dragged by Viva and Ooredoo which dropped 3.41% and 3.23%, respectively.
Remal was the most active stock on which 16.7 million shares were traded, reaching 61 fils.
NBK recorded the highest turnover of KWD 3.4 million, up 1.52%.
