Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait posted positive performance during the week ended 6 April.
The price index rose by 0.01% or 0.37 points to close at 7,029.80 points this week from 7,029.43 points in the previous week.
The weighted index gained 1.66%, and Kuwait-15 index levelled up by 2.59%.
The market’s turnover increased by 11.66% to total KWD151.64 million this week from KWD 135.81 million in the past week, which ended on 30 March.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume grew 37.7% to stand at 1.79 billion shares from 1.3 million in the previous week.
The transactions grew by 17.62% to reach nearly 34,360 deals from approximately 29,210 in the previous week.
The market cap levelled up by 1.7% or KWD 480 million ($1.6 billion) to total KWD 28.83 billion ($94.4 billion) during this week from KWD 28.35 billion ($92.8 billion) a week ago.
