Mubasher: The Main Market index of Boursa Kuwait gained 1.23% or 59.3 points to reach 4,872.21 points by the week ended on 28 March compared to 4,812.91 points in the past week.
The Premier market added 1.15% or 67.8 points week-on-week to 5,957.98 points from 5,890.21 points.
Similarly, the All-Share Market index went up 1.17% or 64.8 points to 5,583.8 points from 5,519.03 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 17.3% week-on-week to KWD 163.89 million from KWD 198.27 million.
The trading volume decreased by 15.1% to 830.21 million shares from 977.4 million.
The number of transactions went down 6.2% to about 30,320 from nearly 32,330.
The market cap gained KWD 380 million during the week to reach KWD 31.98 billion ($105.53 billion) from KWD 31.6 billion.
