Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait continued to rise for the sixth consecutive session on Wednesday.
The All-Share index gained 0.88% or 50 points to close at 5,731.91 points.
Similarly, both the Main and Premier markets added 0.04% and 1.21%, respectively.
The performance seen by Boursa Kuwait’s indices in general on Wednesday is considered a continuity of the positive trend that has started in March, capital market analyst Murad Al Damghi told Mubasher.
The Premier Market of Boursa Kuwait has been playing a key role in the recent increase witnessed in the stock exchange, the analyst added.
The banking segment topped seven gainers with 1.2%, while the technology sector led four decliners with 7.19%.
Arabi Group was the top winner with 7.38%, while First Takaful led the losers with 7.59%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased by 7% to KWD 46.06 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 49.55 million in the previous session.
The trading volume grew by 3.4% to 187.69 million shares from 181.59 million.
KFH posted the highest liquidity of KWD 7.24 million, the stock added 2.91%.
AUB Bahrain was the most active stock on which 26.06 million shares were traded, the stock went up 2.41%.
