Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with a massive increase, as the Premier, Main, and All-Share markets went up 1.11%, 0.49%, and 0.89%, respectively.
The banking segment topped eight gainers with 1.2%, while both the consumer services and industrial sectors retreated by 0.42%, each.
Ekttitab headed the winners with 10.5%, while Kuwait Finance and Investment (KFIC) led the losers with a decline of 9.6%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover soared by 99.8% to KWD 20.4 million on Monday from KWD 10.21 million in the previous session after the trading volume increased by 77.2% to 90.41 million shares from 51.03 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 4.01 million, the stock went up 1.52%.
Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 8.14 million shares were exchanged, the stock retreated 2.13%.
