Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday with a mixed performance for the second session in a row, as the All-Share and Main markets retreated 0.1% and 0.6%, respectively, while the Premier Market added 0.18%.
The insurance segment led six decliners with 1.35%, while the oil and gas sector topped four gainers with 1.4%.
Kuwait Foundry was the top loser with 11%, while Gulf North Africa headed the winners with 9.6%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 20.3% to KWD 8.29 million on Monday from KWD 6.89 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 38.6% to 63.65 million shares from 45.93 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest trading value of KWD 1.04 million. The stock went up 0.2%.
Gulf North Africa was the most active stock on which 14.49 million shares were exchanged.
