Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday with a mixed performance for the second session in a row, as the Main market added 0.14%, while both the All-Share and Premier markets retreated by 0.35% and 0.62%, respectively.
The insurance segment topped three gainers with 1.2%, while the telecom sector led seven decliners with 0.52%.
KAMCO was the top winner with a rise of 14.7%, while Marakez led the losers with a decline of 9.3%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 49.3% to KWD 9.33 million on Monday compared to KWD 6.25 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 36.4% to 36.41 million shares from 26.69 million.
Zain was the most active stock on which 4.29 million shares were exchanged at a total value of KWD 1.66 million. The stock went down 1.03%.
