Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the Premier and All-Share markets added 0.42% and 0.24%, respectively, while the Main Market edged down 0.08%.
Earlier on Sunday, Boursa Kuwait announced that it has applied FTSE Russell Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB) for all equity stocks listed on its markets, effective June 2018.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value decreased to KWD 8.72 million on Sunday from KWD 18.45 million in the previous session after the trading volume increased to 38.52 million shares from 79.69 million.
Boubyan Bank was the top winner with a rise of 1.8% to 509 fils, the highest level registered for the stock, while Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) led the losers with 2.30%.
Boubyan Bank was the most active stock on which 3.42 million shares were traded.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 1.88 million, the stock went up 0.14%.
