Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session with a massive increase, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets added 0.29%, 0.16%, and 0.53%, respectively.
The basic materials segment topped eight gainers with 3.35%, while the oil and gas sector led three decliners with 0.7%.
Al Aqariya Trading Investment topped the winners with 8%, while KGL led the losers with 12.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increase by 3.9% to KWD 9.1 million on Thursday from KWD 8.76 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 7.3% to 48.66 million shares from 45.37 million.
Boubyan Petrochemical posted the highest liquidity of KWD 1.36 million, the stock went up 5.26% to reach the highest level in 52 weeks at 880 fils.
National Industries Group Holding was the most active stock on which more than 5.4 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 873,100. The stock closed at 160 fils.
