Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday with a massive increase for the third session in a row, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went up 0.41%, 0.61%, and 0.06%, respectively.
The telecom segment topped seven gainers with 1.2%, while the insurance and financial services sectors were the only decliners with a drop of 0.61% and 0.28%, respectively.
Shuaiba Industrial was the top winner with 8.26%, while Arabi Group Holding led the losers with 5.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 7.9% to KWD 10.78 million on Thursday, compared to KWD 11.7 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 15.7% to 36.76 million shares from 43.62 million.
Zain was the most active stock on which 8.9 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 3.48 million, the stock rose by 2.6%.
