Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets added 0.16% and 0.34%, respectively, while the Main market index retreated 0.14%.
Technology companies topped nine rising sectors with 4.9%, while the consumer services segment led three decliners with 0.58%.
Al Madar Finance headed the winners with 18.72%, while Alrai Media led the losers with 23.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value increased by 34.1% to KWD 9.52 million on Tuesday compared to KWD 7.1 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 21.2% to 53.34 million shares from 44.02 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of nearly KWD 910,700. The stock added 0.27%.
Ahli United Bank (AUB Bahrain) was the most active stock on which 5 million shares were traded. The stock fell by 0.57%.
