Mubasher: The All-Share and Main markets of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.22% and 1.01%, respectively, by the closing of Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Premier market edged up 0.08%.
The telecom segment led five decliners with 1.66%, while the technology sector topped five gainers with 9.46%.
The United Projects Company for Aviation Services (UPAC) led the losers with 10.64%, while Al Eid Food topped the winners with 20.82%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 5.8% to KWD 19.13 million on Tuesday from KWD 18.09 million in the previous session, while the trading volume went down 0.5% to 84.45 million shares from 84.88 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3.15 million, the stock went up 1.09%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 12.65 million shares were traded. The stock closed at 10.8 fils.
