Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait showed mixed performance at the closing of Tuesday’s trading session amid a decline in the trading activity.
The Main Market and All-Share indices decreased by 0.15% and 0.01%, respectively, while the Premier Market index increased by 0.04%, compared to their levels on Monday.
Meanwhile, the trading activity decreased with liquidity reaching KWD 33.48 million, compared to KWD 50.61 million on Monday, while the trading volume declined to 163.72 million shares from 184.46 million.
The consumer services sector topped five decliners with 1.11%, whereas the oil and gas segment led five gainers with 0.10%.
At the same time, National Cleaning Company came on the top of the green zone with 23.23%, while Dar Al Thuraya Real Estate led the decliners with 15.24%.
As for the most active stock, Mubarrad Holding Company recorded the highest trading volume with 10.16 million shares, while National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), up 0.37%, posted the highest turnover with KWD 7.94 million.
