Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Main markets rose by 0.07% and 0.38%, respectively, while the Premier Market index edged down 0.1%.
The consumer services segment topped four gainers with 1.2%, while the technology sector led six decliners with 14.5%.
Unicap headed the winners with 15.6%, while Automated Systems led the losers with 22.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased by 27.8% to KWD 6.87 million on Wednesday from KWD 9.52 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank by 25.4% to 39.8 million shares from 53.34 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 1.03 million after 1.39 million shares were exchanged through 172 transactions. The stock closed at 739 fils.
Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 4.11 million shares were traded through 104 transactions at a value of around KWD 192,710. The stock went up 1.52%.
