Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets retreated by 0.46% and 0.72%, respectively, while the Main market edged up 0.02%.

The unstable performance is still ongoing in Boursa Kuwait in line with fluctuations amid lack of catalysts and the usual decline in the month of Ramadan, the deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO, Raed Diab, told Mubasher.

Rising above the resistance level of 4,800 points will be a positive step to break into several ascending levels, as closing above the 4,852 points will be the main transformation level in Boursa Kuwait, Diab added.

The insurance segment led nine decliners with 2.8%, while the oil and gas and telecom sectors topped the gainers with 0.18% and 0.01%, respectively.

Warba Insurance headed the losers with 10%, while Gulf North Africa advanced the winners with 10.55%.

Boursa Kuwait’s trading value increased by 20.6% to KWD 8.25 million on Wednesday from KWD 6.84 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 15% to 42.24 million shares from 36.74 million.
