Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance for the second session during this week, as the All-Share and Premier markets edged up 0.01% and 0.08%, while the Main Market retreated 0.11%.
The telecom companies topped three gaining segments with 1.3%, while the consumer services sector led eight decliners with 0.57%.
First Takaful Insurance headed the winners with 9.09%, while Al Aqariya Trading Investment led the losers with 11.9%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 22.5% to KWD 19.21 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 24.79 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 18.7% to 91.34 million shares from 112.38 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3.35 million, the stock added 0.18%.
Kuwait International Bank (KIB) was the most active stock on which 11.24 million shares were traded, the stock went up 1.3%.
