Mubasher: The indices of the All-Share and Premier markets of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session 0.06% and 0.14% higher, respectively, while the Main Market index retreated 0.18%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 4.5% to KWD 40.27 million on Wednesday from KWD 38.55 million in the previous session, similarly, the trading volume grew by 0.21% to 247.48 million shares from 246.96 million.
Despite the decline of purchasing power during Wednesday, the overall performance of Boursa Kuwait is still positive, deputy head of the research unit at KAMCO Investment Raed Diab told Mubasher.
Al Eid Food was the top winner with a gain of 27%, while Alrai Media Group led the losers with 5.83%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) acquired the highest liquidity of KWD 4.65 million, the stock went up 0.32%.
Arzan Financial was the most active stock, for the fourth session in a row, with 49.82 million traded shares. The stock rose by 0.32%.
