Mubasher: The Boursa Kuwait’s indices grew at the end of Wednesday’s session, while liquidity dropped 58.3%.
The All-Share Market index added 54 points, or 0.92%, to close at 5,878.67 points on Wednesday. The Main Market and Premier Market indices gained 0.14% and 1.2%, respectively.
Eight sectors went up including materials which surged 3.07%. The real estate sector increased by 2.15%, the banking sector rose by 1%, and the consumer goods sector inched up 0.07%.
On the other hand, two sectors declined, including insurance and consumer services which levelled down by 0.34% and 0.03%, respectively.
Arabi Group topped the market’s gainers, soaring 13.31%, while Kuwait Syrian led losers, plunging 14.81%.
Trading volume dropped 35.4% to 131.66 million shares and liquidity shrank 58.3% to KWD 27 million.
