Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday’s trading session in the green zone.
The price index gained 1.12% or 65.30 point to close at 5,896.49 points; the highest level in 17 months.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.54% or 0.57% respectively to reach the highest levels in more than a year.
Liquidity increased to KWD 29.96 million, as trading volume grew to 401.44 million shares.
The financial services sector topped 10 gainers with 2.1%, on the back of Gulf Investment House which rose by 7.8%.
The real estate segment levelled up by 1.14%, endorsed by Awj which gained 7%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 32.29 million shares were traded.
Humansoft recorded the highest trading value that stood at KWD 4.06 million. The stock gained 3.73% to reach KWD 2.78.
