Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait’s indices closed Tuesday’s session on a varied note, with the Premier Market and All-Share indices rising 0.39% and 0.15%, respectively, while the Main Market index fell 0.35%.
The banking sector led gainers with 0.26%, while the oil and gas sector fell 0.96%.
Wethaq Takaful Insurance topped risers, soaring 35.38%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials headed fallers and retreated 11.02%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank to KWD 30.43 million on Tuesday, from KWD 36.9 million in the previous session, while trading volume leapt to 240.83 million shares, against 199.16 million on Monday.
Abyaar Real Estate Development’s stock, up 7.95%, led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 67.57 million shares, while Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which added 1.35%, registered the highest trading value of KWD 6.42 million.
