Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a mixed performance during the week ended 24 January 2019.
The All-Share index rose four points, or 0.08%, to 5,241.45 points this week from 5,237.42 points in the past week ended 17 January.
The Premier Market index grew 12.9 points, or 0.23%, to 5,493.2 points, against 5,480.34 points a week earlier.
Meanwhile, the Main Market index fell 15.2 points, or 0.32%, to 4,782.62 points, compared to 4,797.86 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover retreated 15.1% to KWD 114.01 million from KWD 134.34 million last week, while trading volume decreased by 20.2% to 625.4 million shares from 783.24 million.
The number of transactions tumbled by 21.8% to about 21,310 from nearly 27,250 in the prior week.
Boursa Kuwait’s market cap gained KWD 20 million ($66.1 million) week-on-week to KWD 29.95 billion from KWD 29.93 billion.
