Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a mixed performance during the week ended on 14 March, as the All-Share Market index went up 0.7%or 37.1 points to reach 5,346.81 points this week compared to 5,309.69 points a week ago.
The All-Share index continued to rise during this week until it reached 5,345 points in line with active trades, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandy told Mubasher.
The Premier Market index gained 1.24% or 69.7 points to close the week at 5667.03 points from 5,597.37 points last week.
Meanwhile, the Main market index retreated 0.63% or 30.1 points to reach 4,744.59 points this week compared to 4,774.7 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 153.4% to KWD 299.47 million during the week from KWD 118.2 million last week.
The trading volume grew by 45.1% to 1.03 billion shares from 665.44 million a week ago.
The number of transactions rose by 11.8% to about 27,710 from nearly 24,790.
