Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a mixed performance during the first week of February that ended on 7 February.
The All-Share Market went down 0.12% or 6.4 points to reach 5,199.64 points this week compared to 5,520.99 points in the previous week.
The All-Share Market of Boursa Kuwait remains positive as long as it keeps the support level of 5,170 points of which breaking will lead to a negative performance, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandry told Mubasher.
The Main Market retreated 0.74% or 35.3 points to 4,762.71 points from 4,798.05 points.
Meanwhile, the Premier Market added 0.17% or 9.4 points to close this week at 5,439.52 points compared to 5,430.1 points.
During this week, the trading value declined by 8.4% or KWD 13.2 million to reach KWD 143.6 million from KWD 156.81 million.
The trading volume shrank by 10.7% to 902.2 million shares from 1.01 billion last week.
The number of transactions decreased by 6.6% to nearly 26,670 from about 28,550.
Market cap fell by 0.07% or KWD 20 million ($66 million) to reach KWD 29.73 billion this week from KWD 29.75 billion.
