Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share Market index retreated 0.01%, the Premier Market index edged down 0.07%, while the Main Market index added 0.11%.
By 9:50 am Kuwait, the basic materials segment led the decliners with 0.72%, while telecom companies topped the gainers with 0.7%.
Al Madina for Finance led the losers with 6.8%, while Mubarrad topped the winners with a rise of 8.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.6 million after 10.3 million shares were exchanged through 565 transactions.
Zain posted the highest trading value of nearly KWD 783,740 after 2.01 million shares were traded, the stock went up 1.6% in line with disclosing the company’s positive results in the first quarter of 2018.
Investors was the most active stock on which 2.9 million shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 37,800. The stock went down 1.54%.
