Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance.
By 9:37am Kuwait time, the benchmark price index edged up 0.08% or 5.5 points to 6,730.11 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.25% and 0.39%, respectively.
Real estate companies topped gainers with 0.36% in line with the 19.2% growth of Marakez which headed the winners.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment led decliners with 0.33%, dragged by Sultan Center which lost 9.1% to be the top loser.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.5 million after 6.4 million shares were exchanged through 400 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest trading value of about KWD 350,010. The stock went down 0.34%.
Sultan Center was the most active stock on which 968,000 shares were traded.
