Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the Main Market added 0.05%, while both the All-Share and Premier markets retreated by 0.03% and 0.07%, respectively.
By 11 am Kuwait time, the insurance segment led the decliners with 0.62%, while the telecom sector headed the gainers with 0.18%.
Kuwait Syrian Holding was the top loser with 9.76%, while Equipment Holding topped the winners with 6.18%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to nearly KWD 588,200 after 4.4 million shares were exchanged through 315 transactions.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of nearly KWD 175,100. The stock reached 727 fils.
Gulf North Africa was the most active stock on which 1.52 million shares were traded. The stock lost 4.52%.
