Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the first session after announcing the stock market’s promotion to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
The All-Share Market index retreated 0.67%, the Premier Market index went down 0.98%, while the Main Market index added 0.14%.
By 9:35 am Kuwait time, the telecom segment led the decliners with 1.87%, while the insurance sector topped the gainers with 0.69%.
KGL was the top loser with 9.83%, while Tamdeen Investment advanced the winners with 15.44%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 13.5 million after 38 million shares were traded through 2,220 transactions.
KFH posted the highest turnover of KWD 2.98 million, the stock reached 703 fils.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 5.67 million shares were exchanged, the stock added 1.52% to 134 fils.
