Mubasher: The All-Share Market index of Boursa Kuwait registered an increase of 1.75% or 100.5 points month-on-month to close June at 5,832.16 points compared to 5,731.67 points in May.
The Premier Market index added 2.16% or 134.8 points to 6,377.02 points from 6,242.24 points in May.
The Main Market also gained 0.63% or 30 points to end June at 4,766.53 points from 4,736.58 points in the prior month.
Over the course of June, Boursa Kuwait achieved a growth of 7% in turnover to KWD 660.25 million from KWD 617.14 million a month ago.
The trading volume increased by 16.2% to 2.63 billion shares in June from 2.26 billion in May.
The number of transactions also enlarged by 4.2% month-on-month to about 108,090 transactions from about 112,860 deals in May.
