The All-Share Market grew 101.67 points, or 1.81%, to reach 5,731.67 points this month.
The Premier Market added 194.91 points, or 3.22%, to close at 6,242.24 points in May compared to 6,047.33 points in the previous month.
Meanwhile, the Main Market declined by 92.24 points, or 1.91%, to 4,736.58 points.
Liquidity shrank by 12.2% to reach KWD 617.14 million from KWD 702.71 million.
The trading volume declined by 37.9% to 2.26 billion shares in a month from 3.63 billion the month before.
The number of transactions went down 20.4% to 112,860 from 141,800.
Weekly Gains
Over the week, the indices of All-Share Market, the Premier Market, and the Main Market levelled up 2.74%, 0.34%, and 3.64%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 486.89 million shares, while turnover recorded KWD 137.66 million.
