Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Bourse Kuwait ended Tuesday’s trading session rising by 1.05% or 62.52 points to reach 6,014.36 points; exceeding the 6,000-point level for the first time since 20 August, 2015.
The weighted index gained 0.07%, while the Kuwait-15 index fell by 0.20%.
Liquidity increased to KWD 48.24 million, after 672.01 million shares were traded.
The financial services segment topped nine gainers with 1.9%, on the back of Al Mal which jumped by 12.2% to top the winners.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector led three decliners with 0.42%, dragged by Marine Services which lost 7.9% to be the top loser.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 90 million shares were exchanged. The stock levelled up by 1.92%.
KFH recorded the highest trading value that reached KWD 4.8 million. The stock gained 1.82%.
