Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait opened Wednesday’s trading session on a negative note with the All-Share Market index starting trading 0.27% down.
Likewise, the Main and Premier markets slipped by 0.09% and 0.34%, respectively.
By 9:20 am Kuwait time, the banking stocks headed the declining sectors with a decrease of 0.42%, while the financial services sector led the gainers with an increase of 0.43%.
Umm Al Qaiwain’s stock led the losers after falling by 10%, while Kuwait Finance and Investment’s (KFIC) stock, which rose by 6.4%, topped the winners.
Trading volume amounted to 5.41 million shares that were exchanged through 300 transactions at a turnover of KWD 962,110.
Kuwait International Bank (KIB), down by 0.74%, was the most heavily traded stock with 928,270 traded shares through a turnover of KWD 248,420.
