Mubasher: The indices of boursa Kuwait were in the red zone by the week ended 9 February when compared to the previous week ended 2 February.
The price index lost 3.81% or 260.8 points to reach 6,582.75 points this week from 6,843.53 points a week ago.
The weighted index retreated by 1.19% or 5.08 points, while Kuwait-15 index levelled down by 0.86% or 8.33 points.
Liquidity shrank by 18.2% to total KWD 244.92 million this week from KWD 299.43 million in the prior week, and trading volume decreased by 14.5% to 2.65 billion shares from 3.11 billion in the past week.
Transactions stood at nearly 50,180 this week, 9% lower than nearly 55,160 a week ago.
Market cap lost 1.33% or KWD 390 million ($1.31 billion) to total KWD 28.89 billion ($94.52 billion) this week from KWD 29.28 billion ($95.8 billion) in the previous week.
