Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait rose by 6.47% or 416.55 points to reach 6,852.30 points by the week ended 26 January as compared to the week ended 19 January.
During the week, the weighted index gained 4.95% or 20.21 points, and Kuwait-15 levelled up by 4.54% or 42.85 points.
Turnover increased by 22.6% to KWD 389.34 million, after trading volume gained 14.95% to total 4.37 billion shares over the week.
Transactions grew by 15.2% to reach nearly 69,970 from around 60,750 in the previous week.
Market cap gained 4.9% or KWD 1.38 billion ($4.5 billion) to reach KWD 29.51 billion ($96.61 billion) by the end of this week from KWD 28.13 billion ($92.01 billion) in the past week.
