Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait ended the first session of March in the red zone, falling 0.64% or 43.35 points to close at 6,739.73 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.53% and 0.4%, respectively.
The telecom segment led decliners with 2.71%, dragged by Hits Telecom which lost 3.7%.
KMEFIC went down 5.71% to drag the financial services segment 1.3% lower.
The banks sector retreated by 1.28%, as Ithmaar Holding dropped 8.2%.
Turnover increased to KWD 32.27 million, after trading volume grew to 294.6 million shares.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 24.74 million shares were exchanged.
KFH recorded the highest trading value of KWD 5.57 million.
