Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Monday’s trading session with a massive growth after the All-Share Market index inched up 0.37%, while the Premier and Main markets added 0.42% and 0.26%, respectively.
By 9:25 am Kuwait time, the consumer goods sector led risers with 1.31%, while the industrials sector was the worst performer with 0.07%.
Real Estate Trade Center’s (Marakez) stock was the best performer after growing 9.7%, while Combined Group Contracting Company’s stock led losers with 5%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 41 million shares exchanged through 925 transactions at a turnover of KWD 7.3 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which edged up 0.47%, led the market in terms of liquidity with KWD 2.1 million, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which advanced 2.8%, posted the highest traded volume with 10.2 million shares.
