Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a grouped rise.
The price index, which is the market’s benchmark index, went up 0.72% or 48.7 points to reach 6,815.69 points, as the weighted index gained 0.26%, and Kuwait-15 index rose 0.16%.
By 9:45am Kuwait time, liquidity stood at KWD 7.4 million, after 72.4 million shares were exchanged through 1,670 transactions.
The oil and gas sector topped 10 gainers with 3.15%, while the industrial segment was the only decliner with 0.11%.
Napesco was the top winner with a gain of 8.06% to KWD 1.34.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 6.92 million shares were exchanged.
Burgan Bank recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.76 million, rising 1.52%.
