Kuwait- Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait added 0.23% or 16.12 points, reaching 6,755.91 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up 0.43% and 0.78%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 109.6 million shares through 2,100 transactions, with a turnover of KWD 7.8 million, by 09:50am Kuwait time.
The gas sector led gainers by 3.3% backed by Contracting and Marine Services which hiked 8.77%.
On the other hand, the financial services sector was down 0.19%, weighted by Kuwait Finance and Investment which declined 5.10%.
Abyaar Real Estate topped traded volume by 23.3 million shares, while Al Imtiaz Investment led traded values with KWD 1.5 million.
