Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Tuesday’s trading session with a massive drop after as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets shed 0.14%, 0.17%, and 0.08%, respectively.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the telecommunications sector led losers with 0.52%, while the consumer goods sector topped gainers with 0.11%.
The bourse’s trading volume hit 13.4 million shares exchanged through 620 transactions at a turnover of KWD 3.54 million.
Arkan Al Kuwait Real Estate’s stock was the worst performer after losing 2.9%, while the stock of Credit Rating and Collection (Tahssilat) was the best performer after gaining 7.9%.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which dipped 0.32%, topped the market in terms of liquidity with KWD 993,640, while Ithmaar Holding’s stock, down 0.72%, posted the highest traded volume with 2 million shares.
