Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session lower, as the price index lost 0.46% or 31.16 points to reach 6,719.60 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.46% and 0.45%, respectively.
By 10:00am Kuwait time, the market’s liquidity stood at KWD 15.38 million after 118.73 million shares were exchanged through 2,499 transactions.
The banks sector led 10 decliners with a fall of 1.62%, dragged by Ithmaar which lost 8.3%.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment gained 0.28% on the back of Gulf Franchising which rose by 5.5%.
Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 29.33 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.48 million.
