Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with mixed performance, as the price index gained 0.07% or 3.58 points to reach 5,660.87 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.27% and 0.53% respectively by 9:40am Kuwait time.
The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 3.08 million, after 34.59 million shares were traded through 824 transactions.
The banks segment led the decliners with a fall of 0.31%, while the oil and gas sectors topped the gainers with a rise of 0.8%.
Contracting and Marine Services was the top winner with a rise of 2.57%, while Marakez headed the losers with a 2.5% decline.
The Securities House was the most active stock on which 6.83 million shares were exchanged.
NBK posted the highest turnover of nearly KWD 889,780.
