Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait opened Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the Main Market index inched up 0.03%, while the All-Share the Premier markets fell 0.02% and 0.05%, respectively.
By 9:28 am Kuwait time, the telecommunications sector led losers with 0.45%, while the consumer goods sector topped risers with 0.65%.
Warba Insurance’s stock was the worst performer with 10%, while International Resorts’ stock was the best performer with 9.95%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 48 million shares, through 1,045 transactions, generating KWD 5.1 million.
Gulf Bank of Kuwait’s stock, which remained stable at 261 fils, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 980,000, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which added 2.21%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 14.6 million shares.
