Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with grouped rise; the price index gained 0.12% or 8.06 points to reach 6,759.43 points by 9:49am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up by 0.01% and 0.07% respectively.
Liquidity amounted to KWD 26.05 million after 298.24 million shares were traded through 4,754 transactions.
The real estate segment topped four gainers with 0.65% on the back of Mazaya which levelled up by 4.55%.
The banks sector grew by 0.50%, as Warba rose by 2%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector retreated by 0.83%, dragged by Hits Telecom which lost 1.69%.
Al Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 50.85 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 3.22 million.
