Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with grouped decline.
The price index edged down by 0.03% or 2.5 points to reach 4,775.07 pints by 9:40am Kuwait time; both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.45% and 0.77% respectively.
The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 4.91 million, after 74.97 million shares were traded through 1,337 transactions.
The real estate sector led three decliners with 0.26%, dragged by Tijara and Real Estate Investment which lost 5.2% to be the top loser.
The banks segment retreated by 0.26% in line with the 1.82% fall of KFH.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector topped six gainers with 0.19%, backed by Hits which levelled up by 1.19%.
