Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with mixed performance.
The price index gained 0.09% or 2.74 points to reach 5,758.10 points by 9:34am Kuwait time, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.07% and 0.01% respectively.
Turnover amounted to KWD 7.02 million, after 52.44 million shares were exchanged through 980 transactions.
Boursa Kuwait’s telecom sector led the decliners with 0.29%, dragged by Ooredoo which lost 1.7%.
The banks sector levelled down by 0.27% in line with the 1.28% fall of Ithmaar.
Manazel was the most active stock on which 10.14 million shares were exchanged.
Humansoft recorded the highest value of KWD 2.56 million, with the stock rising 3.08%.
